Meet the Team
We volunteer our time to support our local community
Mo has been an active member of the SCGCC since May 2022. As chair of the committee it is my job to propose and organise the committee meetings and to facilitate the operation of the committee. My day job is Managing Director of AVRS Systems Ltd.
I am the longest serving committee member since 1993, My role at Amentum is Business Support Manager working on the OneAIM Contract for the last 6 years.and it has been a pleasure to help raise funds to support the local community. We have raised many thousands of pounds in the 40 years which would not be possible without the continued support from the Sellafield Contractors and the supply chain.
In my role as Director at NRL, I have been fortunate enough to witness the inspiring work carried out by the SCGCC over the last 15 years and it has been wonderful to serve the committee for the past two. As an active member of several local charities, it is a passion of mine to raise funds that support key charitable projects. Sometimes we risk seeing Sellafield as solely a place of work, but through witnessing the results of our fundraising - and the efforts of the wider supply chain – I’ve seen the great things we can achieve together.
In my role as Operations Manager for Mitie both on and off the Sellafield Site. I have been part of the charity nights over the past 20 years and witnessed the good work that the SCGCC do. I was given the opportunity to be part of the SCGCC committee to which I jumped at the chance, which I have been for the past two years. I enjoy helping local charities achieve their goals by helping to raise monies to support.

I have been a member of the SCGCC since I started with Balfour Beatty Kilpatrick which is 25 years this year. I have been on various contracts on Sellafield in my role looking after the Security and have been working on the BEP project for the last 8 years. It is a pleasure to be part of the SCGCC raising money with the Sellafield Contractors and supply chain and seeing how much it helps the local community.

Funding is raised through Charity Events and donations from the Sellafield Contractors Group.
We also have a strong preference to work with local organisations rather than national charities.
